Createsoft is a baby that I grew with the unwavering support and assistance of my wife and business partners. From its humble beginnings as a 2 person operation, it serves as a source of pride to witness the regional expansion of Createsoft beyond Singaporean shores to the present strength of 40 employees. The company name, Createsoft is of special significance. Our interest in Technology and cutting edge Software is evident as the underlying link from our initial aim as a provider of customised software to our current sole distributorship of Technogym SpA wellness equipment in the Vietnam market.
Our successful operation in supplying world class fitness equipment from our Italian partners, ‘Technogym’ sees our distributorship growing to encompass the Cambodia market in 2011. This step forward portends our ambition to further develop and penetrate the booming Indochina market with all aspects of the Createsoft enterprise. Our investment in the region showcases our continued determination to be a mainstay in Vietnam and provide the best support and service.
The past ten years has seen the company transform from a basic collector of second hand Personal Computers to having vested interests in varied growing markets exhibiting a connected passion for innovation and technology. This continued success and prosperity does not mean that there have been no challenges for Createsoft. As a provider of novel products, my team and I continuously work to educate the public on the cutting edge quality software we provide such as Blancco, a safe, reliable, cost efficient software erasure system that takes away the need for traditional physical destruction of equipment containing sensitive digital information.
The spirit of entrepreneurship that started as a tiny spark was fanned by my wife, Jenny and our family who have supported me all these years, especially my father who although is no longer with us, taught me crucial skills in business. There have been many who have helped and taught me along the way. My previous employers, Ms Gina Sim and Mr Lim Kok Hwa from Fujitsu Microelectronics, Mr John Walker and Mr John Wheeler from Frank’s Casing who all gave me the opportunity to discover and fine-tune my interest. My gratitude goes to Mr Gim and Mr Leong from Sin Spring City who believed and helped me to start my export business. To my initial business partner Ms Gina Kwok who set up Createsoft with me in addition to my other partners, Mr Alvin Fong, Mr Dennis Tan, Mr Mark Lim and Mr Poh Phuay and who has helped to grow the company over all these years, I extend my deepest appreciation and respect to all of them.
The future will see Createsoft IT services extending beyond Windows and Intel based software and equipment support to provide a broad based, integrated support service. We will continue to provide quality maintenance contracts with speedy and highly skilled support. Our export trading arm will see the increase of our partner network to further expand the product brand list without losing the standard that we are proud of. We will also endeavour to deepen our sustainability efforts in the communities we work and live in.
